Contest Rules

How it works

Any car or motorcycle posted during the contest month is automatically entered -- no separate sign-up needed. Cars and motorcycles run as two completely separate contests, so they never compete against each other. The community votes throughout the month, and the top vehicles in each category become finalists. A final review of the finalists determines each winner, which helps keep the contest fair and resistant to vote manipulation.

Duration

Both contests run monthly, from the 1st to the last day of each month. Winners are announced within the first week of the following month.

Judging criteria

Build quality and craftsmanship, originality, photo presentation, and overall community engagement.

Prizes

Winners of each contest receive a permanent Contest Winner badge on their profile, extended homepage spotlight placement, and additional prizes that may vary month to month.

Eligibility & rules

Must be a registered RateMyRide member. One entry per person per contest per month (your highest-voted vehicle in that category counts if you have multiple). Vehicle must be genuinely owned by the entrant. RateMyRide reserves the right to modify, pause, or disqualify entries suspected of vote manipulation. By entering, you agree your vehicle photos may be featured in RateMyRide promotional material. Final review decisions are final.
