Welcome to RateMyRide ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using ratemyride.online and its associated mobile app (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Content You Post

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you post. By posting content, you grant RateMyRide a license to display it on the Service and in related promotional material. You're solely responsible for the content you post and must have the right to post it.

You agree not to post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or that misrepresents a vehicle or part you're listing.

Premium Membership

Premium membership is a paid subscription that unlocks features such as for-sale listings and Swap Meet access, processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Swap Meet and Vehicle Sales

RateMyRide provides a platform for members to list vehicles and parts and to communicate with one another about potential transactions. RateMyRide is not a party to any transaction between members, is not involved in and is not responsible for any sale, purchase, or exchange that takes place through the Service. Buyers and sellers are each solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence, verifying listings, arranging payment, and resolving any disputes between themselves.

The Online Car Show Contest

From time to time, RateMyRide may run community contests (such as the monthly Online Car Show). Participation is subject to the rules posted on the contest page at the time of entry. RateMyRide reserves the right to modify, pause, or cancel any contest at its discretion.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to harass, threaten, or abuse other members; attempt to manipulate voting or contest results; use the Service for any illegal purpose; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

Reporting and Enforcement

We provide tools to report and block other members. We may investigate reports and take action including removing content, suspending, or terminating accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing, vehicle, or part is accurately described by the member who posted it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RateMyRide is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any transaction or dispute between members.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
