RateMyRide ("we," "us," or "our") operates ratemyride.online and its associated mobile app (together, the "Service"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase).

Profile information: Anything you choose to add to your profile, such as an avatar photo, car club name, and description.

Vehicle and listing content: Photos, descriptions, and details you post about your vehicles or Swap Meet parts listings.

Messages: If you use the in-app messaging feature to contact another member (for example, about a Swap Meet listing), we store the content of those messages so the conversation can be displayed to both participants.

Payment information: If you subscribe to Premium membership, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details ourselves.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate the Service, display your content to other users as intended (e.g., vehicle listings, votes, Swap Meet posts, and messages), process Premium subscription payments, and communicate with you about your account.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the service providers that power the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Stripe (payment processing). Content you post publicly — vehicle listings, votes, profile information, and Swap Meet listings — is visible to other users of the Service by design.

Swap Meet Transactions

The Swap Meet feature allows members to buy and sell parts with one another. RateMyRide is not involved in and is not responsible for any transaction that takes place through the Swap Meet. Buyers and sellers are each responsible for conducting their own due diligence before completing a transaction.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You may update or delete your profile information, vehicle listings, and Swap Meet listings at any time through your account. You may request full account deletion by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
